Chocolate Time makes its much-awaited return to the Lobby Bar of the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo, inviting chocolate lovers to rediscover the pleasures of an indulgent and comforting experience. Until 31 March 2027, this seasonal rendez-vous celebrates the finest cocoa grands crus through exquisite pastry creations, exceptional hot chocolates and signature cocktails. A delicious invitation to savour chocolate in all its forms, in the elegant surroundings of the Lobby Bar.

Chocolate in All Its Forms

Imagined by Executive Chef Christophe Cussac and Pastry Chef Patrick Mesiano, Chocolate Time celebrates the richness and diversity of chocolate through a selection of irresistible creations. From the chocolate fondue to share to the delicate pastries handcrafted in the hotel's chocolate atelier, each treat combines the comforting flavours of childhood with the creativity and expertise of our talented chefs.

Among the highlights, discover the chocolate, caramel and peanut bar, the cookie served with vanilla ice cream, or the indulgent brioche crème brûlée with chocolate chips. For a more refined experience, the signature soufflé chocolate tart with homemade praliné reveals a delicate balance of textures and flavours, while the Guanaja chocolate finger and silky dark chocolate mousse promise moments of pure indulgence.

The highlight of this year's edition is a selection of four exceptional hot chocolates, each offering its own interpretation of this timeless favourite. Alongside the traditional hot chocolate served with vanilla whipped cream and its delicately spiced cinnamon variation, two additional creations enrich the experience: the intense and indulgent Guanaja hot chocolate and the irresistible praline hot chocolate. A delicious invitation to discover new flavours and savour the comforting pleasure of chocolate at its finest.

A Moment to Share

To complement these sweet creations, Head Barman Mickaël Bellec and his team have imagined a selection of signature cocktails inspired by the world of cocoa. From the elegant Noir Intense, combining Macallan Harmony V, Phoenix Honey Orchid tea honey and tonka bean, to the indulgent Cascade Chocolatée, blending vanilla-infused gin, Amaretto, Kahlúa and chocolate, each creation offers a new way to explore the richness of cocoa. A chocolate-inspired mocktail completes this delicious selection.
